The supercharged toolkit for Grease Pencil v3
Built for animators
Block out your scene, adjust timing and spacing and even visually edit your sequences faster than ever before - all from the viewport.
Bidirectional synchronization between the 3D cursor and your Grease Pencil objects allows for rapid blocking. Set your object position with Shift + Right Click, or move your object with G and have the cursor follow. Auto-creates GP keys as you sync to keep Object and GP keys in alignment.
Custom world-space onion skins that stay where you drew them, with controls you won't get from Blender's native onion skin. Separate stroke and fill opacity, show onion skins for keyframes only, isolate by object or layer, and modify thickness and falloff. Keyframe any setting to create unique effects, and include onion skins in your render pass.
Ditch the graph editor. Interactive motion paths map out your GP trajectory as an editable curve — directly in the viewport. Move your entire sequence elsewhere in the scene, speed up and slow down beats by editing curve points, and leverage proportional editing for granular control of your keys.
Traverse the timeline without leaving the viewport with clickable frame labels.
One-click billboard effect automatically orients your GP towards the camera. Essential for 2.5D storyboarding — the GP plane stays perpendicular to the active camera at all times. Plus built-in helper tools to center your strokes and reproject them from edit mode.
Overlay frame-spacing markers along your motion path to visualize timing at a glance. Tighter ticks mean slower movement, wider ticks mean faster — giving you an immediate read on pacing without scrubbing the timeline.
Stroke alignment operators for GP edit mode. Center strokes at the origin, Reproject them onto the camera plane, Reorient rotated drawings back to the canvas, and Rotate interactively around the canvas normal. All tools support multi-frame editing.
Bring the power of the lightbox to Grease Pencil. Create a library of pinned frames that snap to the bottom-center of your canvas no matter what frame you're on, making it easier to retain proportion and stay on model.
